Seven items, nothing withheld

This is a working session rather than a lesson. Six plates and one set of written judgments come in with no hints and no score until you submit. Use the picture, scopes, reference, and brief together. Every item passes at 85, the bar you have held since The Blind Match.

The teaching loop is closed here. Earlier rooms let you make a call, learn the read, and grade a picture. You could study the review and revise. This room keeps the same kinds of evidence but removes the lesson and the repair lap. It measures whether you can choose the right read without being told which room the problem came from.

Shot one comes in as a client note. Translate it, diagnose the image, and make a complete global correction.
Shot two is a face. Set its level, hue, and reach against the approved warm master without treating the skin indicator as an exact target.
Shot three is a one-light. Use the offset wheel as this bench's printer-light analog, then shape the ratio the global offset cannot provide.
Shot four is blind. A ghost on the waveform and nothing else, and it is the one plate here that runs against a clock.
Shot five is a pair. Another shot from the same scene sits fixed on the other side of the wipe, already approved. The only thing measured is whether your frame sits with it. There is no hidden answer on that one.
The reading item has no console at all: six short judgments, including the exposure, contrast and balance methods introduced earlier in the path.
Shot seven has no visual reference. It gives you a short delivery brief, and the bench recognizes three distinct authored readings that satisfy it.

Shot one shows a Balance and Color strip as a working aid, not a sequence grader. The final picture is what gets scored. Use the Core pass if it helps you separate decisions, but the assessment does not claim to certify the order of your gestures.

Only one plate here is timed. You are graded on the result rather than on speed, so take the time each of the others needs. Shot four is the exception: it runs on a stated window, because The Timed Pass left you holding a clock and the sign-off does not hand it back.

Every session in this room is graded at the heaviest weight a question is given here, four times what an early check is worth. All of them move your skills hard. That weight is the reason to slow down: read each plate twice before you touch a control.

Clear them and the Core signs you off. You read the scopes, correct a balance and place skin. You match blind, order the work and finish a plate before the clock runs out. Every shot asks for more than one of those, and between them the seven shots reach every skill this path has trained. The last three items are why the sign-off covers the path rather than the console. One is a scene that has to hold together. One is the reading craft the last three rooms were about. One is a frame where nobody has decided the answer for you. A foundation path takes you this far. Deeper node work, and speed under real pressure, are what the pro paths build on top of it. The sign-off also places you: your rating here sets where you start in The Grade, where the numbered rooms put the same reads under a clock against everybody else's.
